February 21: The Rock Church, San Diego, CA
March 1-2: SLU: Student Youth Leadership, Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida
Recent Feedback // Thanks
so much for speaking at Youth Pastor Summit in Orlando this week (3/2/2010). The
feedback from your session was awesome and we are already making plans
to have you back next year. I knew that you were a wonderful marketer
and a brilliant author, but you really are a very, very gifted speaker.
Thank you for leading such a thought provoking and inspirational
session for Youth Pastor Summit! - Chuck Allen, COO Student Leadership University
March 19: North Coast Church, Vista, CA
Host Spirited Speaker & Author, Renee Johnson to speak to your young adult & 20-somethings group. She will share the importance of spiritual growth, and how to have a daily devotional life with Jesus, also includes book signing.
Did you know that today’s Christian 20-somethings often
feel out of place in a traditional church setting because most programs are
tailored to high school students, ages 18-21, or young married couples with
young children who are closer to their 30’s and older?
There are few to no
options for 20-something professionals who desire to grow in their faith and in
community with each other. There are approximately 38 million people ages 20-29[1]
in the U.S. today, and nearly 18 million of these are registered on Facebook.
According to the Barna Group 78% of the 20-something generation claim to be Christian[2], resulting in more than 29 million 20-somethings in need of a guide to connect them to Jesus.
The Barna Group also stated that if a 20-something “cannot find
a local church that will help them become more like Christ, then they will find
people and groups that will, and connect
with them instead of a local church.” This new devotional book will create a
brand that the everyday 20-something can trust, while keeping them connected to
Jesus and each other.
